Wenjun Chen
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. I am advised by Prof. Arratia and Prof. Douglas Jerolmack. My research objective is to understand creep in dirsordered materials. Prior to starting at Penn, I worked with Jasna Brujic on monodisperse droplets synthesis, active matter and self-assembly using experimental, modeling, and optimization approaches. I also collaborated with Bloen Metzger on emulsion rheology and microfluidics. I graduated with a PhD degree in physics from New York University in 2026.
